Consisting of personal letters, 1924-1929, of Cassel to his financee (later his wife, Julia Bickley Cassel), written from Spartanburg, South Carolina, 1924-1925, where Cassel sold advertising for "The Sun" newspaper, and from Brooklyn, N.Y., and various other places, 1926-1929, while selling clocks and watches for E. Ingraham Co., New Haven, Ct; also includes descriptions of his trip to Europe, Oct. 1924, aboard the White Star Liner "Olympia"; and seven family photographs, most unidentified.
